PAYOT is an internationally renowned cosmetic brand, born in 1920 from the extraordinary vision of a woman: Nadia Payot. Ahead of her time, she became one of the first female physicians, involved in the women's rights movement, she soon demonstrated her commitment to using her medical, scientific and herbal expertise in the skin care products she developed.
When she met the prima ballerina Anna Pavlova, Nadia PAYOT understood the importance of techniques for preserving the beauty and youth of the skin. She developed and then introduced her clients to facial exercises, which are the origin of the 42-movement massage, still practiced today.
Nadia PAYOT then created a line of unique beauty treatments that act in synergy with these application techniques. Legendary product names such as Crème n°2 and Nutricia, payot cc cream were introduced in the first Parisian Beauty Institute which opened on rue Richepanse in 1925.
